NSWPGC continues to work toward achieving a fair and reasonable base rate outcome for all growers. The current discussions are focused on aligning payments with updated cost modelling to support long-term sustainability across the grower network.

Members agreed on a final negotiation position that reflects fairness, consistency, and the need to ensure growers remain financially viable. NSWPGC will continue representing growers collectively to reach a balanced outcome.

Cost Model Review

A detailed review of the cost model is underway to ensure all calculations accurately reflect grower operating realities. NSWPGC is undertaking further analysis of historical data to strengthen the evidence base and support fair outcomes for growers.

Independent Benchmarking

Members agreed to engage an independent accountant to complete a sustainability benchmark analysis. This work will establish an objective reference point for grower viability and assist NSWPGC in advocating for equitable outcomes.

Funding support has been secured to proceed.

Contract Renewals

Several grower contracts are approaching renewal. NSWPGC will assist members through the renewal process to help ensure fair and consistent terms.

Members were encouraged to remain unified during negotiations. Collective participation strengthens the group’s ability to achieve reasonable outcomes for everyone.

Industry Reporting Update
